School Governor

At Stoke Park Junior School we currently have vacancies on our governing body.  The Governors are an essential part of the school community and play a key role in improving educational standards for all children.

Governors take satisfaction by giving something back to the school

√      They make planned visits to classroom and outside events

√      They are willing to learn and listen to pupils and teachers

√      They attend short evening courses and training sessions to learn more about their role.

Governors provide the school with a sense of direction

√      by supporting the Headteacher and staff

√      by taking an independent view of school spending

√      by using their own experience of the wider world

√      by being positive about new innovations
