Youth Engagement worker

The role of Youth Engagement Volunteer offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join a brand-new team at SEN TALK CIC. In this position, you will support the effective delivery of activities and events that significantly enhance outcomes for neurodivergent children and young people living in Hampshire. SEN TALK CIC is committed to a Neuro-Affirming approach, and the Youth Engagement Volunteer needs to have a good understanding of autism and ADHD. Volunteers will receive comprehensive training and support during their time at SEN TALK CIC, making this a valuable opportunity for anyone looking to develop their skills. You will work positively and proactively to provide person-centred support and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a maximum impact. The role will consist of 1 Friday evening per month, in Bordon.

Skills

We are seeking a dynamic, passion-driven individual who is well-suited to manage a fast-paced role in the charity sector. The ideal candidate must be strongly dedicated to putting the needs of neurodivergent young people at the centre of practice and championing their voices. 1. Experience working with children and young people is essential 2. Experience either working or lived experience of Autism and or ADHD 3. Good communication skills
