The ‘Friends of Thornden Hall’ - volunteers, are the heart of our organisation.
The team of volunteers primarily operate the busy theatre bar and provide support for the Hall with ushering duties. Profits generated from the bar and the events that the Hall promotes are ringfenced to continue to improve and upgrade the infrastructure of Thornden Hall.

Friendly, welcoming volunteers who enjoy working with the public.
A rota is sent out with details of all the shows at the hall with an invitation to pick as many or as few shifts as you want to.
FroTH is affiliated to Thornden School so the volunteer recruitment process requires all applicants to complete a DBS check and undergo annual child safe guarding training. Volunteers need to arrive about one hour before the show and will usually need to stay for 3-4 hours.
